Chief Operating Officer (COO)
Own the engine room of WGF Group. As COO you'll turn our founder-first vision into repeatable systems — building the operations, team structure, and service delivery that let us scale without losing the personal touch clients value.
- Design and run firm-wide operations and service delivery
- Build processes, playbooks, and quality standards
- Lead hiring, onboarding, and team development
- Own capacity planning and client experience
- Partner with the founder on strategy and growth
- 5+ years in operations leadership, ideally in professional services
Bookkeeper
Keep founders' books clean, current, and diligence-ready. You'll own monthly close for a portfolio of startups and small businesses, giving owners numbers they can actually trust and act on.
- Monthly close, reconciliation, and categorization
- Accounts payable and receivable management
- Maintain accrual-ready, investor-friendly books
- Expense and vendor tracking
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and/or Xero
- 2+ years of bookkeeping experience
Tax Professional
Help founders keep more of what they make. You'll handle entity-level tax strategy and compliance, and uncover the credits — including R&D — that early-stage companies routinely leave on the table.
- Prepare and review federal, state, and franchise filings
- Advise on entity structure (C-corp, LLC, S-corp)
- Run R&D tax credit studies and documentation
- Manage Delaware and multi-state compliance
- CPA, EA, or equivalent tax credential preferred
- 3+ years in tax, ideally with startups or small business
Business Consultant
Be the strategic voice in the founder's corner. You'll translate financial data into decisions — runway, burn, pricing, and growth — and help clients turn their numbers into a competitive advantage.
- Build runway, burn, and financial models
- Advise founders on fundraising and growth strategy
- Support board and investor reporting
- Translate data into clear, actionable guidance
- Strong financial modeling and communication skills
- 3+ years in consulting, finance, or fractional CFO work
Accountant
Bring rigor to the numbers behind every client. You'll own financial reporting and analysis, ensure compliance, and help founders understand exactly where they stand and where they're headed.
- Prepare financial statements and management reports
- Oversee GAAP-aligned accounting and controls
- Support audits, budgeting, and forecasting
- Analyze performance and surface insights
- Degree in accounting or finance; CPA a plus
- 3+ years of accounting experience
